🚧 Road Closure Notice: C24L Fordyce–Sandend Resurfacing Begins 12 January 🚧

Heads up, neighbours—Aberdeenshire Council has confirmed that resurfacing works will take place on the C24L Fordyce–Sandend Road starting Monday 12th January 2026, running through to Friday 16th January. This essential upgrade will improve driving conditions and help extend the life of the road, which many of us rely on daily.

🔒 Closure Details
The road will be fully closed between A98 at Linkbraeheads and C13L at Cobo Cottage for the duration of the works. Please plan ahead and use the signed diversion route to avoid delays.

A temporary diversion will be in place, clearly marked on-site and available via the council’s map. It’s designed to keep traffic flowing safely while crews carry out the resurfacing.
